Frustration

I’ve never posted negative stuff about my school, certainly not my students, and never will. But I’ve actually been frustrated enough these last two weeks that I prepared (but did not publish!) a brief post. Monday will tell.

Monday came and went. It’ll take a few more days, but things will be ok. (and apologies for writing cryptically.) Again, I don’t write negative stuff about my school or students. I don’t think I should take it personally when a class acts out, but in this case the intensity was magnified by it being a class that I have worked with for four years and that I am quite fond of acting out quite badly.
If this is the first time you’ve wanted to post something negative about your school in your career, then you have been blessed. Shit happens….. :)
Oh, there’s always negative stuff if you look for it, but I’ve never been tempted to type it up for the blog.
I think my closeness to the current senior class (I’ve taught many for three years, most for at least two, and one girl for three math courses plus two one-term electives) contributed to my frustration, and magnified it.
