IF you put a point in the middle of the line and put a piece of paper coming off the table it is automatically perpendicular to the table/line on the table. You can rotate the paper in a circular motion causing infinite amounts of perpendicular planes and not just 1.

That’s incorrect. It needs to be perpindicular to LINE M, not point P. It has to pass through point P, too.
