If I knew the Bronx better I’d have a guess too, but I don’t. I’d have a chance for shots in the BK.

ade’s second entry comes very close. Mt. Eden Station on the Jerome El (part of the rail in the foreground, left), looking east, just past the Jerome entrance to the Cross Bronx.

The light-colored arch carries the Grand Concourse, and carries IND tracks (D train), both high above the other roadways, but, paradoxically, underground.

It’s a Canon, about 3 years old. 450SD or something like that. They continue to get more powerful, year after year. And the displays get nicer, etc, etc. But this is wonderful for me – stuff to learn – always as much resolution as I need, usually much more than I need. There are settings I should learn more about.

But I do particularly like this photo (I think the full one, before the crop, was nicer)
