Teacher pay scale – Teaneck NJ
As I find them, I will post teacher pay scales, concentrating on communities not so far from NYC. For the New York City Department of Education salary schedule, click current or future.
EEks! I put up wrong numbers. All corrected now – 1/9/07, 8:10PM
Teaneck’s Salary schedule is below the fold ———–>
Teaneck is a town of about 40,000 in Bergen County, New Jersey, not far from the GW Bridge. It’s a little more than half white, and per capita income is about $32K. I do not know the town myself, and would not know how to fairly describe it.
As you review the numbers below, notice how quickly the pay rises compared to NYC. Most of the raises hit by 10 – 13 years, depending on education. I have included the charts for this year, and for next year (the 2nd and 3rd years of a 3-year deal)

Thanks for the info. One question, after step 10 on the pay scale with a BA, is that as high as you go?
Hello, Where can I find the teachers salary guide for a paraprofessional in the Teaneck School District? Thank you Robin Caino
Hello,
I currently teach in Las Vegas and am looking to relocate around NYC, but not in the city. I have taught 14 years and have my MA +32. I am also completing an Advanced Degree that places me within the PHD salary scale in Las Vegas. If I relocated, would I receive equal step leverage and pay? Who do I contact to confirm this inquiry?
The answer will be different for each individual district. There is not a central agency that will be able to answer all of your questions.
