Photos question – Please help
July 31, 2008 pm31 9:10 pm
Flickr just told me that if I upload a few dozen more photos, that I’ll have to upgrade and pay actually money… What options do I have?
(Here’s a question I asked a long time ago, same subject, sort of)

Switch to zooomr, which is what I did. Or pay up.
I have a pro account with Zooomr and it’s got 15000 photos on it, most of them a couple of MB each (Taken with a Nikon D200). At the time that I switched, Zooomr was free for bloggers. It’s no longer free.
Zooomr has had it’s ups and downs. There are times when it’s down. In the last year, I think it was down a month when they moved their servers to Japan. The price you pay for storing stuff. I don’t share, I only store. I share through my blog.
From what I remember, Flickr is always free. If you upload more photos, more than 200, you will only have access to your 200 last photos. The others are still stored and available to you once you upgrade to pro.
I paid. It’s not that much money, you get unlimited uploads and some other random features, life is good.
@range, thanks for the note. I will take a look, and
@Kelly, I sort of assume, in the end, I’ll just suck it up and pay.
