This was great.
Thanks! Next time maybe we will have one segment where the two of us talk – but we’d also like to bring in teachers. To talk about teaching. I think teachers matter.
Thank you men. Just for the record, during my 12 years as chapter leader of PS/ MS 149 my experiences with Amy were almost identical to yours and over the years his ceaseless help, intelligence and empathy earned in a me a deep and abiding respect and affection for this extraordinary woman. I find her removal disgraceful.

The issues can get complicated – but no doubt – members in Queens are worse off for what Mulgrew just did.
Palestine can be in the UFT (and in NY, and in the US) hard to discuss – there are people who want to fight with me for calling for a ceasefire (which I do). Imagine a much more prominent union official… it takes guts not to back down.
