on the way out the door… slight progress, but measurable… Explanation? The goal is 2718, starting around jd3100 last winter. The previous progress report was here.

I’ve often wondered what the numbers stood for, but it never imagined that it was a goal you were setting. So . . . I take it that the measurement is ounces?
It’s a dead proportion: 2718 x actual/desired. Working with ounces you’d get wrong numbers but the right idea.
Uhm, if both actual and desired were in ounces, wouldn’t the ratio be the same?
My brain can take the ounces, and that will have to do. lol
